George was the first boy to be born to James and Elizabeth Hazelton. 

He was baptised on 17th October 1825, but in 1836 he was drowned in the Thames, aged 10 years and 10 months.

He was buried on 20th August.  The next child to be born was named Frederick George and his second name may have been in memory of his dead brother.
